This kit includes all required parts to use a VT-01 (Class 1) transponder module with an AIR Control Display (ACD-57).
Class 1 transponders are more powerful and increase your visibility to ground radar stations during long flights at higher altitudes (15,000ft+). For most glider pilots, a Class 2 transponder is sufficient and uses less battery power.
This kit includes all required parts to use a VT-01 (Class 1) transponder module with an AIR Control Display (ACD-57).
Some functions require additional software licences to be installed at cost (the Altimeter Licence can be added to the selection below or purchased separately at a later date).
Please Note: When using the VT-01 Mode-S Transponder Mounting Rack, only antenna cables of type RG-400 are compatible (antenna cables not included).
